If you’re on TikTok, you’ve probably had your own quick peek at other people’s accounts. The chances are that people have done the same to you. Is there any way to find out who has viewed your TikTok profile? What about individual videos?

While the answer may not be exactly what you hoped, there are still some useful tricks to try if you’re wondering how to see who viewed your TikTok videos.

Can You See Who Viewed Your TikTok Videos?

The short answer is no. There’s no way to directly see which people have viewed your individual videos on TikTok.

However, there are ways you can tell who watched a specific video, as well as ways you can make an educated guess.

How to Check For Likes or Comments on a TikTok Video

The most obvious way to know if someone has viewed your TikTok video is if they have commented on it or liked it. If they’ve done so then you know for sure that they’ve watched it, or at least some of it!

To see who has liked or commented on your TikTok video, follow these steps.

1. Open TikTok.
2. Tap the Profile icon.
   
3. Select Videos or Private Videos.
   
4. Select the video you want to see information about.
5. Tap the Comments icon.
   
6. Under Comments, you’ll see a list of all your comments and the people that left them.
   
7. Under Likes, you’ll see a list of all the people who have liked your video.
   

How to See Who Viewed Your TikTok Profile

Not everyone who has watched your video will have liked it or left a comment. However, there is another way you can make an educated guess as to who has watched your TikTok video, and that’s by seeing who has looked at your TikTok profile.

Someone who has looked at your profile may not have watched any of your videos. If they went to the trouble of looking at your profile, then there’s a good chance that they’ll have checked out at least one or two of your videos.

In order to see who has viewed your profile, you’ll first need to turn on the TikTok profile view history feature.

How to Enable TikTok Profile View History

You need to turn this feature on in order to be able to see which people have viewed your TikTok profile. Turning on your profile view history also means that people will be able to see if you have viewed their profile. Anyone that doesn’t have this feature turned on won’t appear in your profile view history.

To turn on TikTok profile view history, follow these steps.

1. Open TikTok.
2. Tap the Profile icon at the bottom of the screen.
   
3. At the top of the screen, tap the Profile Views icon that looks like a pair of footprints.
   
4. Select Turn On to activate profile view history.
   
5. Profile view history will now be active. You’ll be able to see anyone who has viewed your profile in the last 30 days (as long as they’ve enabled view history themselves).
6. Other people will also be able to see if you have viewed their profile in the last 30 days in their own profile view history.

How to Turn Off TikTok Profile View History

If you decide that you no longer want to see your profile view history, or for other people to see that you have viewed their profile, you can turn the feature off again.

To turn off TikTok profile view history, follow these steps.

1. Open TikTok.
2. Tap the Profile icon.
   
3. At the top of the screen, tap the Profile Views icon.
   
4. Tap the Settings icon.
   
5. Toggle Profile View History to Off.
   

How to See Your TikTok Profile Views

Once profile view history is turned on, you can see anyone that has viewed your profile in the last 30 days, provided that they also have profile view history turned on.

To see your TikTok profile view history, follow these steps.

1. Open TikTok.
2. Tap the Profile icon.
   
3. Tap the Profile Views icon.
   
4. You will be able to see a list of the people who have viewed your profile.
   

Take Control of Your TikTok Account

Although there is no direct method of how to see who viewed your TikTok videos, you can see who has liked or commented on your videos. If you turn on TikTok’s profile view history, you can also see which people have viewed your profile in the last 30 days. This will give you a clue as to who has been watching your videos.
