4. Next, tap the profile picture currently set for your Facebook account.
5. In the menu that appears, you can choose to take a new photo, pick a selfie or other picture from your library, or use your custom avatar.
   
6. Zoom or crop the image until it looks the way you want.
7. Once everything’s copasetic, tap Save profile picture.

5. After you’ve found the picture you want to use, you can edit it to zoom or crop. You can also add a frame. If you only want the new picture to appear for a few days, you can choose to make it temporary.
6. Once you’ve set the profile picture how you want it, tap Save.

Setting a New Profile Picture on Facebook from Your PC or Mac

1. In your web browser, navigate to the Facebook page.
2. Click your profile picture and name from the left sidebar.
   
3. Now, click your profile picture.
   
4. Decide whether you want to Choose profile picture or Create avatar profile picture, and click the appropriate item in the menu.
   
5. Now, you can choose the picture you want to use or create your avatar.
   
6. If you want, from the browser, you can make the new profile picture temporary. You can also move, zoom, or crop the image.
7. When you’re happy with the profile picture, click Save.
