How to Watch Apple TV Plus Without an Apple Device

You don’t have to be the owner of an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV to enjoy Apple TV Plus. Here’s how to watch the service on other platforms.

You don’t have to have an Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad to watch content from Apple TV Plus. Similar to other streaming services which are also no exclusive to a particular platform, neither is Apple TV Plus. However, it is a bit more difficult to find out where it is streaming. Unlike other streaming services like Disney Plus, for example, it’s not available everywhere streaming is. Still, you can stream Apple’s premium video service without owning an Apple device. Here’s how to do it.

Create an Apple ID

Before you can start watching Apple TV Plus you need to first create an Apple ID if you don’t have one already. You can create an ID for free by visiting the Apple ID page in your web browser.

Once on the page click the “Create Your Apple ID” link in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that simply fill out the form with personal details like name, date of birth, and create a password.

I don’t think this works anymore. It is requiring you to log into apple, then log into iTunes. Which you seem to have to access from an apple device. Any suggestions on how to access iTunes without an apple device? Apple’s login in process is MADDENING! Why I need a different login for each function makes me crazy!!!!

You cannot search for shows in the browser though! It is ridiculous, but true.

When I signed up for Apple TV once signing in with an apple id it asked for a code that was sent to an Apple device. Without that code, I couldn’t log in. Fortunately I had an ancient ipad that after I dusted it up and charged it, was able to get a code. No code, no access…code only sent to APPLE device.

I think apples trying to force you to get an Apple device is so much hassle on my Android. My son who is a leader of a team of programmers hates Apple and used to use it all the time because they made it so damn hard to use without an iPhone or anything else Apple. They’re losing a lot more revenue than they’re making I would imagine
