How to Gift a Disney Plus Subscription with a Digital Gift Card

If you’ve been enjoying Disney Plus and want to share it with others, here’s how to buy a Disney+ Gift subscription for friends and family.

With over 86 million subscribers as of December 2020, Disney Plus is one of the hottest video streaming services to launch in 2019 — and now, for the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and the U.K., you can gift an annual subscription of the Disney+ to a close friend or loved one.

It’s no wonder the service is so popular as it includes the entire Disney vault as many shows and films from its many acquisitions. It has everything from Walt Disney classics to movies and shows from Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Pixar, National Geographic, and select content from 20^th Century Fox and more.

Although many were skeptical Disney could pull it off with a service that rivals the king of streaming, Netflix, we have to admit Disney has done an excellent job of execution. And the Gift feature of Disney+ is a superb addition for friends and family who might not yet have an account. You can digitally gift a one-year Disney Plus subscription without going to the store. The subscription will be $79.99, which is the same rate as buying a year of the service for yourself.

Purchase a Disney Plus Digital Gift Card

To give the gift of a Disney Plus annual subscription, do the following:

1. Head to this Disney Plus digital gift card page.
2. Type in your name and email address.
3. Type the recipient’s name and email info, the date you want the gift delivered, and a personalized message (optional).
4. Enter your payment information and verify the purchase of the subscription.

After sending it off, the recipient will get an email from Disney and visit DisneyPlus.com/redeememail, choose the offer, and enter the code from the email message.

It’s also important to note that the recipient needs to be a new Disney Plus subscriber. The redemption code is for one-time use only and is non-transferable. Currently, Disney Plus digital gift cards are available in the U.S. only.
