Ms. Marvel Launch Date and Trailer Released
Disney has just released the new trailer for Ms. Marvel, launching exclusively on Disney+ on June 8. We’ve got all the details here.
If you’ve not yet had enough of Marvel news this month, Disney has something exciting to announce. It’s just dropped the launch date for Ms. Marvel, Marvel’s newest limited TV series for Disney+.
We’ve got all of the details, including a look at the brand new Ms. Marvel trailer, below.
Disney Announces Ms. Marvel Launch Date
Ms. Marvel explores the story of Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a Muslim-American teen, gaming fan, fan-fic writer, and super-hero obsessive with a love for Captain Marvel.
Life isn’t perfect for Kamala, however. This wannabe superhero struggles at home and at school—until she becomes a superhero herself. Whether it’s all uphill from there, you’ll have to wait and see to find out! Ms. Marvel is the first to introduce Kamala Khan’s story as Marvel’s first Muslim superhero character, offering her origin story before the character appears in the 2023 upcoming movie The Marvels.
The character first appeared in the 2013 Marvel Comics comic book series Captain Marvel, but she’s since appeared in her own comic series (also called Ms. Marvel) and as the main character in the 2020 Marvel’s Avengers game.
Ms. Marvel is yet another big-budget production from Disney+ and Marvel. This is Iman Vellani’s first role, with the series also staring Saagar Shaikh, Mohan Kapur (Crime Next Door), Zenobia Shroff (The Big Sick), Matt Lintz (The Walking Dead), and Aramis Knight (Into the Badlands).
Ms. Marvel will launch exclusively on Disney+ in all regions on June 8.
